Academy of Diving Trust

Academy of Diving Trust is an independently governed not-for-profit trust registered as a charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005 and incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and is structured to be responsible for the governance of its approved regional tertiary education delivery sites located the length of New Zealand.

PRIVATE TRAINING ESTABLISHMENT

Academy of Diving Trust is registered and accredited as a multi-site Private Training Establishment by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) pursuant to the Education Amendment Act 1990. Academy of Diving Trust is accredited to provide education and training and has consent to assess for unit standards on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) in a range of subject areas.

INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED

All dive delivery sites are Work safe New Zealand Registered Adventure Activity Operators under the Adventure Activity Regulations 2011. Academy of Diving Trust is a signatory to the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021. The Academy of Diving Trust offers internationally recognised dive industry and Medic First Aid® qualifications.

Academy of Diving Trust is accredited to provide education and training and has consent to assess unit standards on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) in a range of subject areas. The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) has approved the annual compliance and funding requirements that outlines the activities of Academy of Diving Trust.
