Alba Graduate Business School, the American College of Greece is one of the top graduate business schools in Europe, located in Athens. Alba was created by the Greek companies in 1992 and since 2011 it formed a strategic alliance with the American College of Greece, aiming to create a top international educational institution in Greece. Alba offers only MBA and MSc programs in almost all business areas including Shipping Management and Tourism.

With a student body of approximately 400 postgraduate students, the Alba community easily maintains a close-knit feel. With more than 60 exchange partnerships internationally, Alba offers a unique learning experience for those students who wish to study abroad for a short period.

Alba faculty comprises of staff from all over the world who have experience from prestigious schools in the area of business and management and beyond, such as Harvard Business School, Wharton, LBS etc. Alba resident professors are leading academics who produce high caliber academic research that has appeared mostly in top academic journals such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Marketing, etc. Some of the articles published by Alba faculty are among the most highly cited in their areas. Alba has very strong ties with the business community in Greece and especially with the Greek Shipping companies which are the top in the global industry.

Scholarships & funding

International students are eligible to partial scholarships up to 30% on tuition fees depending on the application excellence and the quality characteristics of the candidate. If the applicant provides a GMAT score more than 700 then the scholarship on tuition fees will be 40%.

Athens

Athens is the capital, largest city of Greece and one of the world's oldest cities, with its recorded history. Thus is the perfect example of the coming together of the Ancient world and today’s modern society. You cannot walk the streets of Athens without continually being reminded of the incredible history that has taken place on those exact streets.
The Greek capital buzzes away as one of the busiest cities in Europe Its wider metropolitan area is home to some 3.75 million people and it dominates the Attica region. Athens, after the 2004 Olympic Games holding, has been transformed into an easy- to-live –in city with a modern infrastructure network. In recent years is has also enjoyed a new wave of stylish shops, restaurants and hotels. All of this create an exciting and eclectic student experience, from historic sites to modern bars, and vibrant nightlife to leisurely coffees.

Accommodation

Alba provides fully furnished, single or shared, apartments (with en-suite kitchen and bathroom) in walking distance from the School's campus. Accommodation is not included in the tuition fees however international students are eligible for discounted fixed rates per month including all bills. Depending on availability, accommodation is provided to incoming exchange students as well. Monthly living cost for studying in Athens depends on students’ life style. A rough estimation of average living cost in Athens is approximately 300-400 Euros per month (excluding accommodation).
