Interested in learning more about the tourism sector and tourist behaviour? Already have a degree? Study the Graduate Diploma in International Tourism Management.

This programme is designed for students with an undergraduate degree who want to do postgraduate study or develop knowledge in a new area.
AUT has strong industry links with airlines, travel agencies, tour operators and other tourism industry organisations and with AUT's New Zealand Tourism Research Institute. Our staff are globally known, with research expertise in coastal and marine tourism, cultural and indigenous tourism, and sustainability.

What you study

You choose papers from the Bachelor of International Tourism Management to make up a total of 120 points. At least 75 points must be at level 7.

You broaden your understanding of tourism and its importance to the global economy. There's an emphasis on contemporary issues and rapid changes in the tourism industry.
