Facilities

Buckinghamshire New University has the equipment to set students on their way to success whatever their degree choice is. The University has invested in impressive facilities so, when students graduate, their knowledge and experience will be up-to-date. From a flight simulator to a hospital clinic, or mixing desk to design studios, future employers will see that Buckinghamshire New University graduates know their way around already.

Student Support

The student support services run on campus and ensures that the transition to University runs smoothly. No matter the question or problem, students can rest assured that someone will be there to help.

Also, students will experience the support of the University’s Students’ Union  which has been voted number one in the UK for representing students’ academic interests in the 2018 NSS (National Student Survey). So whatever activities students are into, they’ll find a club, society or team to be part of! Not to mention countless other opportunities they can get involved in outside the courses, like volunteering, skills workshops and varied other events. Plus, thanks to the  Big Deal scheme, all clubs, societies and activities  at Buckinghamshire New University are free!

Campuses

Location

Students can study at one of the three main locations, either in beautiful Buckinghamshire (High Wycombe or Aylesbury) or in vibrant Middlesex (Uxbridge). Frequent and fast connections to London give students easy access to the thrills and bustle of the capital from all campuses, without the high living costs. All of the locations are close to train or tube stations. The major London airports, such as Heathrow Airport, are also nearby.

Accommodation

First year full-time students are guarantee a place in one of the comfortable High Wycombe halls. The University also runs an accommodation service that helps students in their search for private rentals, for students that prefer to live off campus. More information can be found in accommodation

This course has opened up multiple opportunities to different careers in the creative industry. We learn lots of different things and expand on skills, along with learning brand new ones! Lecturers are energetic and enthusiastic about the course and teaching you!
