Tourism Management
People working in tourism are skilled professionals in the business of facilitating travel. The Tourism Management degree is your best competitive advantage in this dynamic industry.A degree in tourism management broadens your understanding of the global issues, impacts and challenges facing the tourism industry and prepares you to be effective in complex situations. Courses emphasize sustainability, community engagement, global consciousness and experiential learning with options to earn concentrations in hotel and resort management or adventure.

In addition, 1 in every 11 jobs in Canada is directly attributed to tourism and in BC contributes more than $17 billion to the economy. We encourage students to take advantage of international exchanges through a field school, a study abroad semester with one of our global partner institutions (usually in the third year) or our academic exchange that includes a work term at Walt Disney World.
