BA - Leisure & Tourism

Our Bachelor of Arts in Leisure & Tourism Management program in Geneva gives students an overview of the key attributes of this fast-growing industry. As well as learning invaluable skills within the industry, students will also gain transferable business acumen.

Students of the Bachelor in Leisure & Tourism Management program will gain an in-depth and practical knowledge in marketing, product development, event management and sustainability.

Program delivery

EU is offering maximum flexibility for our Fall Semester to cater to all our students’ needs. We have two options: on campus and online. This will allow you to come to campus or to start online and come to campus when you can. We offer three start dates: October 5, November 2 and November 30.

Health and Safety

Your health and safety remain our highest priority. Class sizes on campus will be reduced, and a strict health protocol followed throughout our campus buildings.

Qualification

Students will learn how to:

  • Assess sustainability in a tourism organization or destination.
  • Research trends in the industry and their potential impact.
  • Appreciate how contemporary global issues relate to leisure and tourism sector.

Degree Awarded

Option 1: Bachelor of Arts in Leisure & Tourism Management

Students completing the EU Bachelor of Arts in Leisure & Tourism Management program are awarded a degree from EU Business School Switzerland which is internationally accredited by ACBSP, IACBE, IQA and certified by eduQua and a state-recognized university bachelor’s degree (título propio) from Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain.

  • Duration: Six semesters/three years (summer fast-track option available)
  • Credits: 151 CH/210 ECTS

Option 2: Bachelor of Arts in Leisure & Tourism Management + BSc (Hons) in International Business

By successfully completing one extra semester on our Geneva or Montreux campuses, you will earn a second state-accredited BSc (Hons) in International Business, awarded by the University of Roehampton in London.

  • Duration: Seven semesters/three years (summer fast-track option available)
  • Credits: 172 CH/240 ECTS

Students who wish to further their knowledge in a specialization may take an additional semester and earn a Diploma of Advanced Studies (30 ECTS) which is state-recognized and accredited (título propio) by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain.
