European Centre for Career Education (ECCEDU) is one of the most important institutions in the Czech Republic providing global summer school programs with internships. We have over 350 partners and many other companies based in various European countries, who support us, such as Siemens, UniCredit Bank, T-Mobile, Lego, Coca Cola or law firms such as DLA Piper, Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy, Linklaters, Bird & Bird and many others.
Our programs are focused on Law, International Business and Architecture and Design. Each of the summer program consists of three weeks of intensive practical lectures and four weeks of internship. Every year, we very carefully select 30 theoretical topics to make sure that they stay relevant and are not covered by university and lecturers providing there lectures are not teachers, but top of their field professionals with real life experience, that they are willing to share. We also realise the importance of improving students’ soft skills, which are just as important as professional knowledge and equally sidelined at university. When thinking about and setting up the schedule for our students we always follow two core values - Experience and Inspiration.
The big unknown of the working world is scary and intimidating. But it does not have to be. ECCEDU was founded to help you smoothly transition from your studies to the start of your career journey. We have perfected a seven-week program focused on soft and hard skills in your subject, networking and internship experience.

Student lifestyle
Traditionally, our Summer Programs open with a welcome gala evening for ECCEDU students. This event provides an opportunity to meet inspiring people, such as founders, lawyers, corporate managers or architects. Various team-building activities are organised thorough the lecture part of the program, such as barbecues, escape games, laser games or sightseeing and shopping for local products; and trips around Czech republic (Kutná Hora, Český Krumlov) and abroad (Vienna, Berlin). An ECCEDU certificate is provided at the end of each program during an informal awarding ceremony, usually in form of barbecue party. In addition, the internship companies grant letters of recommendations or internship certificates.
