The Hotelschool The Hague was founded and funded in 1929 by the hospitality industry to create a central place where industry partners could gain and share new insight, skills and knowledge.

Since its foundation, the Hotelschool has become an international school specialized in hospitality management.

The original fundamentals stayed the same, like the dedicated focus on hospitality and the strong connection with the industry. The Hotelschool strives to be a center where hospitality knowledge and skills are bundled, developed, researched, shared and transferred as realistic as possible in order to prepare young hospitality leadership talents for a successful career in the business. 

Hotelschool The Hague was recently ranked best public Hotel School in The Netherlands for the third consecutive year. In the research, done by Keuzegids 2017, Hotelschool The Hague was best ranked with a total score of 85 on a scale of 100. The results of Keuzegids HBO 2017 are based on the results of the National Student Survey (NSE) and the achievements of students. The total score, the end result of the Keuzegids HBO 2017, is based on all 10 indicators of the judgments of students and experts as well as the achievements.
