The HRC Culinary Academy was established by HRC International, a world-leading training and career development company in the hospitality industry together with the International University College in Bulgaria, which is renowned for its hospitality programs. HRC Culinary Academy is a state-of-the-art culinary school, providing dynamic 2-year education to students from all over the world. The school is located near the Black Sea and close to the beautiful resort town Varna.

The HRC Culinary Academy education programme is designed by top chefs from around the world and combines extensive hands-on culinary training at the Academy with industry practice at fine restaurants and well-known hotels and resorts in Europe, Middle East, South Africa and the USA. This education combinations provides students with a high-quality culinary education for a successful culinary career anywhere in the world. During the two industry placements, our students are exposed to real-life situations in the kitchen and practice and enhance their knowledge and skills. These are paid internships around the globe at some of the finest hotels and restaurants, preparing students for a truly international career as chefs.
The HRC Culinary Academy programme itself covers everything from knife skills and sauce-making to budgeting and menu engineering taught entirely in English language to prepare culinary professionals for a placement anywhere in the world. Students train at modern equipped facilities, featuring hot kitchens, pastry kitchen, a demo theatre and wine cellar. During their third semester HRC Culinary Academy, students gain hands-on experience in Talents restaurant, Bulgaria’s only training fine-dining restaurant operated by students.
Scholarships for the 2-year program are available up to EUR 1.000 per student!!! The size of the scholarship depends on academic performance.
