Bachelor of Business (International Restaurant Management)

This programme from Le Cordon Bleu is designed to challenge students to become creative leaders in the world of restaurant management. Participants will be taught the transformative power of hospitality in business in order to increase their people skills, giving them the ability to communicate better, grow customer relationships, raise productivity and achieve long-term success in a restaurant enterprise.

The Bachelor of Business (International Restaurant Management) is delivered in a mix of lectures and tutorials.

The programme is made up of five stages:

  1. On-campus modules (6 months)
  2. Professional Experience 1 (6 months)
  3. On-campus modules (6 months)
  4. Professional Experience 2 (6 months)
  5. On-campus modules (6 months)

Admission requirements

Applicants who wish to forge a career in restaurant management are encouraged to consider this degree program. Applicants will learn to master the fundamentals of hospitality as well as strategic management principles.

Duration: The Bachelor of Business degrees are three-year programmes. The course comprises four stages of six-month semesters each and the final stage is taken over 12 months (2 semesters). Each semester is normally 20 to 22 weeks of scheduled classes.
Stages 2 and 4 are taken up with professional experience to allow students to develop and apply principles and practices through work industry learning.
Age: 18.
English proficiency: 6.0 Academic IELTS with no band score below 5.5.
Entry requirements: Satisfactory completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent interstate/overseas secondary education is required. Applicants must be 18 years of age when the course commences.
All direct entry Stage 3 students must undertake the Le Cordon Bleu Bridging Course, a one-week programme offered immediately before each semester.

Tuition fees

AU$82,072 for international students. AU$78,916 for Australian students.
