Manchester Met is located in the centre of Manchester, an exciting and vibrant city, full of museums, galleries, theatres and music venues. It has a proud history dating back to 1824 and has a diverse international population from over 100 different countries.
The University is undergoing a £400m investment programme to enhance its teaching and research facilities, buildings and public spaces. There has been recent investment in their Grosvenor building, School of Digital Arts, Institute of Sport and the Dalton building, a redevelopment their Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Campus Facilities
Manchester Met has impressive lecture theatres, seminar rooms and study zones that have the latest technology and specialist equipment. It also home to PrintCity, a 3D printing innovation centre and has an incredible 24-hour library stocked with more than a million books, journals and e-resources*. *Academic year 2020-21
A range of IT and media facilities are also available, including multimedia technology and high-spec labs.

Student Support

International students can access a range of accommodation options while studying at Manchester Met, from en-suite rooms in shared flats to bedrooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms. Manchester Met also has self-contained studio flats available.
All rooms are close to where you will study and near to local facilities including shops, restaurants, cafés, and excellent transport links. You will also find support whenever you need it, from their Residential Life Team to their 24-hour Security Team. Undergraduate students are also guaranteed a place in Manchester Met's University student accommodation for their first year of study, as long as they apply before the annual deadline.
