Located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded and ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq People, Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) is strongly committed to fostering equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA). Counselling Services
Our Counselling servicesprovides free personal and academic counselling to any registered Mount student in a relaxed and confidential environment. We have a number of services available so that the your needs are addressed by highly skilled and professional staff, from health and wellness to academia. In addition, Wellness Workshops, group programs, and exam boot camps are offered throughout the academic year.
Physiotherapy & Message
Coastal Sports and Wellness offers services in Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy and Acupuncture. As a multidisciplinary clinic, we strive to provide you with exceptional treatment to maximize health and well-being. We also believe that investing time in preventative health care is the most effective way to realize treatment goals.
Accommodation
MSVU offers three furnished Residence buildings on campus for all students: Assisi Hall, The Birches, and Westwood. Apart from the convenience of living close to classes, labs, the cafeteria, library, gym and more, students will tell you living on campus is one of the best ways to become more involved in campus life. We encourage you to learn more about your residence options.
- Assisi Hall: Ideal for first-year students, the 12-story building overlooks the Bedford Basin and houses 142 students, all in single rooms. Assisi Hall offers laundry facilities for convenience as well as lounge areas with kitchenettes for socializing.
- The Birches: This group of five spacious townhouses is a nice mix for everyone. The birches each have 21 single rooms complete with a lounge, a kitchen, a laundry room, and storage.
- Westwood: The Mount’s newest residence is geared for senior or transfer students (19 and older), Westwood has mostly four-bedroom fully furnished apartments complete with living room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. If apartment living isn’t for you, Westwood also offers a floor of single dorm-style rooms. This floor also boasts 3 lounges and a brand new games room.
