New Zealand's number one export industry of tourism continues to grow rapidly and evolve with emerging strong markets in tourists from China and India. On this programme you learn to evaluate the new types of tourists coming to New Zealand, to match their needs to experiences available. You will also analyse business systems and processes, including recruiting staff and sustainable practices.
You will have the opportunity to interact with industry so you can feel confident and capable to work in the exciting area of Tourism and Travel. You will be actively involved in discussions on the challenges the industry faces in New Zealand and present your ideas of sustainable tourism management.

Admission requirements
Academic requirements
Students are required to complete international qualifications equivalent to New Zealand NCEA Level 1 or 2 qualification. Entry requirements vary from country to country.
English language requirements
If English is a second language the minimum IELTS requirement is an Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0.
TOEFL Paper based test (pBT) - Score of 530 (with an essay score of 4.5 TWE)
TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) - Score of 46 (with a writing score of 20)
University of Cambridge English Examinations - FCE or FCE for schools with a score of 162. No less than 154 in each skill
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PToE (Academic) score of 42
City & Guilds IESOL - B2 Communicator with a score of 42
