About this program

The Programme is a blend of practical training with business theory giving graduates a competitive advantage to match their career ambitions. The internationally recognised and respected management course, founded on Swiss standards of service excellence, provides students with the necessary experience to advance their careers. QRC delivers a Level 6 Diploma of Hospitality Management which blends theory, practical and professionalism. This enables the QRC Graduate to have the required skill set and management capability to provide immediate value to an employer.

The fully paid internship is a key component of the programme as it provides students a “real life” application to the first year of theory. The internship is vital for creating opportunities within the industry but more importantly it provides the student with a unique learning and mentoring experience which ultimately increases their value.

QRC enables Graduates to enter the industry as professional practitioners who progress to leadership positions at an accelerated rate.

Course Structure

The Diploma Programme consists of 2 terms (11 weeks each) on Campus, followed by a 9 month Internship, culminating with a final 2 terms on Campus.

During the first 2 terms you will undertake practical skill-based training and will learn relevant industry based theory. There will be approximately 32 hours on Campus per week.

During your internship you will be placed in recognised paid employment with a hotel, resort or hospitality based business for a minimum of 1000 hours industry training.

In year 2 the focus is on hospitality business strategies and practices.
