Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland (CAAS)

Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland offers a Bachelor degree in Culinary Arts, alongside Swiss Grand Diploma programs in Culinary Arts, Vegetarian Cuisine and in Pastry and Chocolate Arts with intakes throughout the year.

The Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts is awarded by University of Derby, U.K. It prepares students for their future career journey, focusing on entrepreneurship as well as kitchen skills. With hands-on classes and small class sizes, students have the opportunity to develop their craft both inside and outside of the kitchen and the classroom. State-of-the-art kitchens also offer the ideal learning environment to hone their skills.

The Swiss Grand Diploma programs offer an alternative, shorter term option, with three 11-week themed modules which can be taken as three independent building blocks. The Swiss Grand Diploma focuses either on Culinary Arts / Vegetarian Cuisine (in Le Bouveret) or Pastry & Chocolate Arts (in Lucerne).

All students benefit from the professional partnerships, including Ritz Escoffier, Mane, and Alessi. Additionally, top chefs, including Chef Anton Mosimann (OBE) and the first Swiss female chef to be awarded a Michelin star, Irma Dütsch, are valued friends of Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland. Students benefit from a wealth of expertise as well as unique internship opportunities in some of the most highly sought-after establishments to launch their careers.

Culinary students also benefit from a shared campus with César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, a hospitality school recently benchmarked no.1 by i-graduate in 2018. All hospitality events are catered for by our culinary students, giving them practical, real-world experience.
