Students learn the art of hospitality management, combined with a specialization in Finance, Human Resources, Senior Living Management or Luxury Brand Management. It is the combination of the business focus of the programs, practical skills and industry recognized work experience, that allow HIM students to tailor their education and open doors to a wide variety of exciting career options around the world.
The Bachelor’s degree program is awarded in partnership with Northwood University (USA), which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of the regional accrediting agencies for higher education in the United States, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The specializations in Finance, Human Resources, Senior Living Management and Luxury Brand Management offered at Bachelor and Master Degree levels are respectively endorsed by Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Resort Lifestyle Communities, Tag Heuer, John Paul and Montreux Jazz Festival. Hotel Institute Montreux is located in the heart of Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva with the Alps providing a spectacular backdrop. The campus is a 3-minute walk from Lake Geneva and the train station, providing easy access to a variety of activities. An hour from Geneva airport allows for easy travel to European hotspots at the weekends.
The school is comprised of several buildings within walking distance. All buildings have been renovated and equipped to provide state-of-the-art accommodation and modern learning facilities. Hotel Europe hosts the main classrooms and most of the faculty offices.
Accommodation options are available in all of our campus buildings, depending on your year of study. All accommodation is modern, comfortable and spacious to enable students to feel at home.
