Established as one of the best tertiary colleges in the sector, University courses were first introduced to the College in 1998 where strong partnership links with the University of Plymouth were built.

Part of the Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) initiative, the College met all required expectations for its Higher Education provision when assessed by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in 2016. Twice receiving Outstanding Status from Ofsted, most recently in March 2016, it is a Beacon College and is also matrix accredited meaning that our advice and support services are centred on the student’s personal career, learning, work and life goals.
