Chichester University

Since we began offering higher education almost 180 years ago we have helped thousands of students to achieve their aspirations. When we ask the students about what it is that they like about our University they always cite the sense of belonging that goes with being part of a strong community and the support that they get from a well-qualified staff who know them individually by name. People really matter here.

Both our beautiful campuses blend together historic and state-of-the-art buildings to create the sense of community that we encourage. In making this important decision, do come and visit us on one of our Open Days, meet the staff and students and judge whether this is the University that is right for you.

We are proud that the majority of those who come to Chichester have selected us as their first choice institution. Our results in the National Student Survey, year after year, confirm that they are making the right choice.

We believe our university is enriched by having students and staff from a wide variety of backgrounds. Higher education should be open to everyone who has the ability and potential to benefit from it, regardless of age, ethnicity, disability or family background. We know from our experience that a diverse student group creates a lively and successful community.

Our mission is to provide outstanding education, advance knowledge and benefit the world.

Our vision is that, the University of Chichester will be internationally recognised as a beacon of good practice for high quality, student-centred higher education within a supportive community of learning.
