About this program
Prepare yourself for a career in one of the world’s largest, most diverse industries, spanning both public and private sectors: tourism. As a student in this major, you'll focus on tourism marketing, tourism planning and development, sustainability and environmentalism, and international tourism. You'll also be given a solid foundation of business skills: human resources management, accounting and finance. You will graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a designation that expands your career possibilities even further. Our emphasis on experiential learning means theory is balanced with practice. You can participate in learning opportunities outside the classroom like independent study courses, semester exchanges, and ongoing networking opportunities. You'll learn how to use your knowledge and skills to make a positive impact, both locally and globally.
