Cardiff
The Cardiff campus truly is a sight to behold. Inside you'll find a range of dedicated, thought-out spaces that strike the perfect balance of studying and socialising. It is also in the perfect location allowing us to collaborate with some of the best employers in South Wales.
Treforest
Our Treforest campus is in the heart of the South Wales Valleys, with beautiful scenery and rolling landscape. With an onsite student union, sports centre, restaurants, shops, and more, it boasts a great student community.

Newport
Right at the heart of the city, overlooking the River Usk, is one of the University’s most iconic buildings. We couldn’t be based in a better location to embrace city life in Newport.
We’re continually improving facilities – there’s a new Starbucks, a students' union, plenty of study spaces and more developments to come.
Sport Park
The campus hosts top of the range sporting facilities including an indoor FIFA standard 3G football pitch, which houses a Catapult ClearSky Indoor GPS System, a notational analysis suite, a strength and conditioning room, an all-weather pitch an outdoor 3G pitch and numerous multi use grass pitches amongst other things.
Student lifestyle
From over 100 societies and clubs to choose from, endless support, activities and events to volunteering and skill-development, USWSU make sure you have the chance to enrich every aspect of your student life.
USW Sport is for everyone and trying a new sport or joining a club is a great way to make friends. From indoor climbing to yoga, archery and everything in between, there’s sure to be something you’ll enjoy.
Accommodation
Halls are a big part of your student experience and there’s accommodation at all three of our locations. If you don’t want to live near the campus, there are great transport links to keep you connected. So whether you want campus living or a city centre experience, you can choose what’s right for you.
Many students choose to live in Cardiff, even if they study at a different campus. There are several student Halls in the city centre, as well as a huge choice of private rentals.
Halls at Pontypridd are on campus and they’re a big part of the community atmosphere. With over 1,200 rooms and students from all over the UK and the world, you’ll make friends for life.
At Newport, private halls are just a couple of minutes’ walk from campus and right on the bank of the River Usk, with different room packages to choose from.
