Small-scale and intimate
Zuyd offers you the best of both worlds: a small-scale, intimate learning environment with all the benefits of a larger institution. You can choose from a wide range of courses and enjoy excellent facilities in modern buildings. All of Zuyd’s faculties are relatively small, tight-knit communities, where you find a personal and welcoming atmosphere. Lectures are interactive, with room for personal guidance as well as the freedom to develop into a skilled and creative professional. The project-based learning method allows you to work in small groups of no more than 15 students, supported by a tutor. This method encourages you to actively participate in group discussions and to enhance your problem solving skills.

Please feel free to ask our students anything regarding the programs, student life, being a student during Covid-19, preparations and expectations. Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, Maastricht University and the City of Maastricht created a platform for all the practical questions international students might have (housing, insurances, jobs, study loans, legal help etc). on the My Maastricht website. Here they can find all the answers and assistance if needed.
Student lifestyle
Maastricht has a lot to offer for (international) students. Together with the international students of Maastricht University, the city has a large international student population. Accommodation
Students who study at Hotel Management School Maastricht, will live on campus during the 1st year, together with their fellow first-year students. During the first year of Hotel School, you will be required to live on campus for 6 or 12 months. I decided to stay for a full year which was a great option.
